Wait...what??

That has been mama's expression 3-4 times in the last week. She sets Gibo on all fours and then finds him sitting up, on his own, one minute later. Mama thought I was helping him but today she found out the truth.

Mama put him on all fours in my room while she came in to help go potty and when we came back Gibo was sitting up playing with toys like nothing happened. He is not quite crawling yet (at least forward.)

Update

We celebrated baba's birthday on Saturday. We started the day playing in a box with baba.

For his birthday, I made him a blue card with hearts, balloons, and baba on it. Mama wrote what I told her to write in the card and I wrote my name with mama's help. I gave baba presents from around the house because mama said he didn't need anything. He got a "Hop on Pop" book, a stuffed block, (his) socks, and q-tips. Then we ate chocolate cake. It was the first time I tried it and I loved it. I got about 5 bites.






Last night I had my first conversation with Gibo. Mama, Gibo and I were sitting at the table eatting dinner and Gibo started talking. "Baba Baba? Baba! Baba!" So I told him, "No Gibo! Baba is working." He didn't like that I yelled at him a little but he stopped asking for baba. Gibo is a baby, he has so much to learn.

Two teeth

My brother now has two teeth. He really likes playing the xylophone.

My brother is 7 months old

Gibo turned 7 months old yesterday. He scoots forward and backwards. He rolls both ways. He lets me pretend his is a horse. He loves playing with my legos. He loves to dance and play with who ever will join in. Some of his 12-18 month old clothes are starting to get too small in the waist.

I hope he learns how to walk soon so we can chase each other and hide from mama.

The week in review

Ali came for a visit (so baba could help him with math) this week.

We had a chance to do some playing with cups.

On Friday baba took the day off and we went to the snow.

Ali is showing us how strong he is.
