Fooh foooh!

On Saturday baba took us to see the fooh fooohs. Mama and baba call them flowers.

Every year in April flower growers invite the public to come look at all their pretty flowers in Skagit County. Mama wears out easily and parking in most areas was a hassle, so we didn't get to spend much time there. It was really pretty and baba took some picture.

My new talents.

I now pick out my favorite CD, put it inside the cd player, switch it over to CD mode and press play. I will also pause the CD if you ask me nicely and shut it off.

I like to draw my own circles and squares. Mama draws one and then I draw my own next to it. Mama was very impressed when I drew a square today. I also color inside the lines when mama draws a shape for me.

My bilingual skills are also starting to show through. I ask for eggs in Arabic from baba and if he isn't fast enough to respond I turn around and ask mama for eggs in English. (I don't think mama understands Arabic.)

Butterflies, Circles, Hearts!!

My new bed is here and all put together. Every time I wake up I say "Wow! Butterfly! Circle!" I really like my new bed and I slept in it all by myself last night and I didn't roll out or anything...though mama says she went in about 5 times because I talk in my sleep.

I do my own laundry now.

2 days ago mama started a white load of laundry (my new bedding) so I decided my socks needed washed too. I ran down stairs got one sock then ran back up and put it in the washing machine (that was already going.) Then I ran back down and got the other sock and put that in too and closed the lid. Mama was just happy I know my whites from my colors.

I got new PJs in the mail today. Mama thought I was funny.
I held them up against me and said to mama, "Cute! I like!"

Mama says she is glad she didn't go along with baba's pink flowers idea for my room.
