Hear ye, hear ye

I copy the sounds I hear so watch out. I know "poo po", "maaa ma", " bay be", and one other one mama told me never to repeat. Something about baba saying bad words.....




My new bangs are cool! No more hair in my face.

I love my feet!

I slept most of today (until 4:30pm.) I told you I was tired. When I wasn't sleeping today I was playing with my feet.

Last night mama and baba cut my bangs. They were bugging me all the time. I feel much better now.

Tae Kwan Do

While visiting my cousins this weekend baba and I went outside. Ali started trying to kick baba and I and we jumped out of the way. It was so funny. I was laughing so loud the neighbors could hear me. I had a lot of fun playing with Ali and baba. Mama and Hana watched and they were laughing too.

Baba also bought me a big convertible car seat yesterday too. My infant car seat was starting to get too small and the Britex carseat that Uncle Derek and Auntie Ann gave me was not working in baba's car.

I am exhausted. Good night. :)

My gums hurt

Lately my gums have been a bothering me. I am looking for stuff to chew on because it makes me feel a little better. I hope my gums feel better soon. I am getting a little fussy.

Baba is funny

This weekend I went to see my cousins. While there baba bounced me on his knee and made funny sounds. I was laughing so hard. Uncle Amr took out his camcorder and caught it on tape for me.

I have been sleeping pretty well. I always sleep at least 7 hours before I wake up hungry. I feel very tired lately. Mama and baba think I might be growing again.

I have been busy

Monday my Uncle Matt came over and played with me. He is a fun guy and he loves me a lot. He lives in Germany right now but I hope he moves closer to me soon.

Then Tuesday I meet all my friends at the park. I got to hang out with my friend Mateo under a big tree. I pulled on his shirt and hat and he moved his hands and legs a lot. My other friends are really cool too but they are younger than Mateo and I, so they can't do much yet.

Zzzzz.....Zzzzzz...

I had a long weekend. First mama and baba dragged me around to do their errands then auntie dragged us all around to do her errands. I did have a lot of fun though. I got to spend time with my cousins Hana and Kareem. I really love my cousins. They make me laugh all the time and they love me so much they don't mind my stinky diapers.

Last night I was so tired I tried to go to sleep at 8pm but we were still at my cousins’ house so then I went to sleep at 9pm, but then I was awakened when we got home. Then I FINALLY got to sleep at 11pm and no one woke me up till 8:30 this morning. I am still tired though so I am going back to sleep and maybe I'll wake up at 10.

Baba was also making fun of me because when he snores (and wakes himself up) I snore too. I can't help it. I am a baby, I just copy what the grown ups do.

I am tired!

Baba had to travel to Seattle so I have been stuck with mama. This is fine except......mama DOES NOT snore. How is a girl suppose to sleep with out a steady noise????

Firsts

My first big car ride was to Auntie Sherifa's to meet Uncle Amr and spend the day with baba's family.


My first party (baby shower) August 26th. (I didn't get to eat the food.)

The first time I giggled out loud was with baba, Ali, and Hana on Labor Day.



My first night sleeping in my crib was about 3 weeks ago. (I need my own space you know.)


My first trip was last weekend to Monterey and Carmel for mama's and baba's 2nd aniversary.

The first time I really slept through the night (9:30-6:30) was this Monday.

My name is Zeinab. I was born June 29th 2006 at 4:05 am. I was 7 pounds an 1 ounce and 20 inches when I was born. I came home with mama, baba and grammy 36 hours later. Grammy stayed with us a few days and baba stayed home with mommy and I for 2 weeks.

I meet meme and dedda (baba's mama and baba) on July 1st when they flew in from Egypt. By the 4th of July I had meet all my aunts, uncles, and cousins with the exception of Uncle Hassan and Auntie Heba. But mama and baba are taking me to Egypt in March to meet them and the rest of my family and friends.
