Banana

I still have a yucky cough and runny nose, but no fever. I miss going outside and playing in my stroller.

Yesterday I got to try a piece of baba's banana. Bananas are okay. I didn't really like mine cause it wasn't quite ripe yet.

Well I am off to sleep. I have a big party to attend this Saturday. (Happy Birthday Kareem!)

Baba sick...

Baba is sick, which makes me frustrated, which makes mama upset with both of us. I hope he gets better soon because I miss spending time with baba and it makes me sad every time I see him.

My shots were suppose to be today, but since baba is sick and afraid he might make me sick, we are waiting one more week.

Sweet Potatoes

Meme and Deda arrived safely and I got to spend Friday and Saturday with them. I had lots of fun just sitting with them an playing with Meme's earrings.

Uncle Amr bought me a sweet potato and avocados this weekend too. I tried the sweet potato yesterday and it was very good. Baba even tried a bite and said it was a delicious "botata."

Lights!

Last night we celebrated baba's birthday with cupcakes. Baba said I could try cupcakes, but mama said no. She said I need to at least wait a few more months.

Today was a hard day for me. Things were not going my way and I have taken to screaming when fussing no longer works. Mama DOES NOT understand me at all!!!

Today I figured out how to turn off lights. It is really quite simple. I helped mama by doing it three times in a row today.

I am very excited because meme and deda will be here tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait to get hugs and kisses from them and show them all my new tricks.

My cool new toy

Green Beans

Green beans are so gross. I do not like them. I think next week I will try sweet potatoes....those sound good.

I did start to get my second tooth in on Saturday. Teeth hurt but mama and baba were here to love me.

I also have become a master of removing my tray and toy from my booster as well as removing my own bib. I am getting very good at telling people what I want. My favorite toy right now is a water bottle.

Mmmmm...

Baba gave me avocado (that Aunt Sherifa bought for me) yesterday and I loved it. I like to eat big spoonfuls. I also stole baba's water bottle this weekend and helped myself to a sip.

I can stand on my own

So mama left me in the crib sitting up and watched me. I grabbed my crib rails and pulled myself up to stand. The view is much better when I stand...sitting is so boring.

Now if only I can learn to be mobile mama is in BIG trouble.
